Welcome to Aerohub Business Park

The Aerohub Business Park is next to Cornwall Airport Newquay. It is one of the UK’s largest designated Enterprise Zones with potential business rates relief and enhanced capital allowances for qualifying businesses. The development plots also benefit from a Local Development Order (LDO) enabling the development of the serviced plots with simplified planning*

Aerohub Business Park comprises 15 level plots next to Cornwall Airport Newquay with access roads, pavements, cycleways, landscaping and services already in place.

The plots range from 0.26 hectares to 1.26 hectares, priced from £155,000 to £750,000.

The first developed plot, called Sector 2, has been developed as high quality office and light industrial accommodation.

Businesses from all sectors can apply to locate to the Aerohub Business Park, however priority will be given to aerospace and aerospace supply chain companies in engineering, manufacturing and businesses in the renewable energy sector.

Cornwall Airport Newquay is already home to a successful and growing aerospace, space and manufacturing cluster. It has been earmarked as Europe’s first horizontal launch Spaceport for small satellites, in partnership with launch company Virgin Orbit. Launches from Spaceport Cornwall are expected to start in late 2020 or early 2021.

Aerohub Business Park is part of an Enterprise Zone meaning qualifying business may be eligible for business rate relief of 100% in year 1&2, 75% in year 3 and 50% in year 4.

Enhanced capital allowances are also available in specific areas of the business park. Businesses can claim tax relief of 100% in the first year towards plant and machinery.

Location

Aerohub Business Park is located just four miles from the town of Newquay on the north coast of Cornwall, close to Cornwall Airport Newquay, with up to four flights a day to London Heathrow (journey time 1hr and 10 mins) and regular flights to other major UK and European cities.

It is within five miles of the A30 dual carriageway, which provides access to Cornwall’s major towns, the M5, A38 and national road network.

Mainline rail services to London Paddington are available at Bodmin Parkway (20 miles from Aerohub), with a journey time of 4hrs to London.
