Sand

Some tenants have reported concerns about excessive amounts of sand causing disruption in the IU yard and around IU doors due to tractors towing trailers full of sand along North Quay. It has also affected the gates to the offices by filling the runners with sand so that the gates were not working properly early this morning. I have reported this issue to Cornwall Highways this morning and the response is below: “We have inspected the reported issue and have verified that it requires attention in accordance with our Highway Maintenance Manual. We will notify you when works have been undertaken.”
